Have done implants for many years. I don't know any implants made of anything but titanium, which is a metal.

Implants sometime fail for no good reason. Most dentists graft and redo them for free.

Metal crowns are much better on posterior implants, ESPECIALLY 2nd molars where porcelain fracture is so common.

Dr. Stroud knows what he is talking about and what he is doing.

He did an implant for me and for 6 yrs ago and that implant has held up and done the job! Along with 3 fillings he did for me 6 yrs ago that have also stayed in place and I have not had any problems with them. Although I do take care of my teeth and floss regularly. I eat a lot of candy.

Anyway, I recommend Dr. Stroud to all my friends and most my family sees him as well.

Dr Stroud did an excellent job on my implants (2) and crown. I would recommend him to any friend or family member. He did the job for $5,500 where I was going to have it done in Indianapolis for $8,500.

Larry Stroud put 6 ,what I thought to be Titanium, yet looked more like cheep metal pegs on the top and 5 in bottom in March 2016. When I received my pegs and teeth I was told to keep them in for a week and not take them out.

I keep them in 5 days and has to remove them because he had trapped the tissue under my tongue under the denture!! I had an abscess the complete U shape from one side of the back of my tongue to the other. In less than a month the bottom plate broke. I lost an upper right front peg at home about 2 months later and he had to remove one next to it a month later because it was loose.

I saw him,another dentist and my PCP for infections on the top. Every time I thought it was gone it would come back worse until puss started oozing out of my upper gums. Long story short about 8 months later I woke up to a swollen face and puffed up eyes. Needless to say I saw an oral surgeon who treated me for severe infection that had started eating away at my bone.

I scheduled to have all the top pegs removed. The very next day one of those metal pegs on top broke into on my rt side. I was down to 3 on the left. 3500$ later including bone grafts I’m left with a gum that is so disfigured I can barely keep non-mini implant dentures in.

Oh and I had to have someone else make teeth because he made 2 sets that I wouldn’t make my worst enemy wear. And because he put the bottom pegs in so crooked, I go through O-rings in a month &1/2. They should last 6-8 months.

Very dis-satisfied customer to say the least.

He should be put out of business.

He preys on the older generations because they don’t know any better. As was me.

Stroud gave me metal when I specifically asked for natural looking teeth. I was supposed to get porcelain. I'm glad you had a great experience but I did not and I will gladly show you the pictures if you're interested in the hidious work I received. I can even show you the xrays with the abcess underneath.

I think my next post will include the pictures.

Since Dr. Stroud stands behind his work I'm sure he wouldn't mind everyone taking a look.
